Through our hydraulic concrete breaker-based design, posts are driven by jackhammering them into the ground. You maintain full control of the post while driving at a rate of 800 blows per minute. The domed cup design enables you to push and pull the post straight, and the attached chain serves as a plumb bob and depth gauge. Because all moving parts remain above the post, our design also allows the user to reach over an existing fence to drive posts on the other side. Safety First
Through our design, a single operator is able to drive straight and true fence posts without the assistance of a spotter. This increases job safety by keeping your operator in the seat of the loader and eliminating the need for someone to stand by the post. It made the installation fast and easy, though a little more difficult to control the angles. I did need to add one more post and used a sledge hammer and though it wasn t too bad the electric hammer with this tool was worth the investment, especially if you are going to set a lot of post. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Vonn Oz-Post jackhammer bit spacer HSP-T4 for Oz-Post T4-850 does it job I purchased the Oz-Post T4-850 see review and this driving kit was needed to install the post anchors in. I could have used other methods to install the anchors which the company s website shows but decided to go with their recommendation of using a jackhammer therefore requiring this driving kit. I highly recommend doing the jackhammer method for convenience and ease. Anyways, I rate this 3-4 stars 3.75 overall; I m not an expert but i think the spacer needed to keep jackhammer in place could use more surface tension because most of the impact was being done by the jackhammer bit. Now I m stuck with a jackhammer bit Oz-Post spacer taking up storage space, unless I do another fence or deck project. August 18, 2012
